Seren Homes is a boutique real estate investment company with a focus on single-family, multifamily value add properties, and ground-up development.

With a diverse team led by veteran real estate professionals Gregg Watkins and Art Haffling, Seren Homes has remodeled hundreds of homes over the last decade and has successfully managed over $1 Billion Dollars in real estate transactions.

Our model is simple: We acquire distressed residential real estate with value-add potential. Then we maximize the value of the real estate through improvements. Finally, we sell the improved real estate to proud new buyers who happily call it home. In the process, we build value into our communities.

Gregg Watkins

Partner

Gregg Watkins has a 30-year profile of success as an Entrepreneur, Business Banker, Real Estate Broker, Mortgage Broker, Real Estate Investor, and Mentor.

He got his start in real estate and finance as a Business Banker Officer for Wells Fargo Bank. Then in 2004, Gregg founded Watkins Realty Group and Watkins Home loans – full-service real estate and mortgage companies. Over the past 15 years, Gregg has also been active in real estate investment, working with fellow investors to buy, renovate and sell single-family homes, as well as residential and commercial real estate development ventures, including ground-up construction.

Gregg has a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine. He is a state-credentialed teacher in Real Estate and Finance, and has taught a variety of Adult Education real estate classes for Poway Unified School District over the past 10 years. Gregg’s background also includes working in the entertainment industry as a film coach, producer, and director.

Art Haffling

Partner

Art has been a long-time real estate agent working with traditional Buyers and Sellers before transitioning to the real estate investment side of the game. In the last 16 years, Art has been active in buying, renovating and selling properties in the San Diego County market. In that time Art has renovated approximately 850 properties.

Art is an active entrepreneur and businessman that has created multiple businesses over a 35-year period. Those businesses include Real Estate Investment Company, multiple nightclubs, food and beverage-related services, promoting and producing national music acts in mid-sized markets, and entertainment booking services companies known as
A & A Entertainment and A & A Enterprises.

Art is currently a licensed California Real Estate Agent and former U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, Honorable Discharged.
